Amid concerns about a scam, solar energy firm told to stop door-to-door sales in Rosemount

Going up to homeowners doors is the least expensive way to find new customers for many home improvement companies.  Especially home alarm and solar companies.

A common tactic for that salesperson going door to door for solar,  is to state that they work with the local utility to offer cost saving programs.  That statement is “kind of” true – but there are some creative leaps that are being made.

In Southern California, door to door is now very common and few homeowners will fall for this approach anymore.  In new markets, like Minnesota – this type of approach will be way more common.

Remember, multiple bids for any home improvement project, especially solar are essential.  Feel free to reach out if you need another solar bid to consider or want to review what you are currently considering.
