One of the tricks a not so great solar salesperson will use is to try and talk you out of getting multiple bids. They will say stuff like…”you have spent two hours with me already, you really want to waste another 6 hours of your life talking to three more companies….?”
Your answer should be YES, I do want to talk to more companies. These are long agreements with lasting ramifications. 6 hours in the frame of a 20 to 30 year agreement is nothing.
Get multiple bids and make sure your solar salesperson understands your objectives and financial circumstances.
